I presently work Part time as a Freelance Artist and Disability Art Consultant and Part time for DASh-Disability Art in Shropshire as Visual Arts Manager developing and implementing Visual Arts projects, curator of exhibitions and developing disabled artist professional development training.

For my DASh projects including Carnival, street art In Ya Face, Arts Development Team, Scream, an Artists network group, Barriers artists residency and DASh exhibitions.

  • October 04/December 05 Arty Party-Telford. Visual arts- artists skills development and curator of exhibition ‘Fruit Family Album '. Oakengates Theatre, Gallery. The ‘Fruit Family Album' is a unique explorative collection of drawings that take on a brand new dimension of maturity. They celebrate learning disability art aesthetic at the highest level yet this work is still not been realised by them or by the rest of the art world as an art form in its own right.

2003

  • February/May 03 Curator, Astoria project, DASh, Qube, Oswestry. The Astoria project is a collection of artifacts, strategies for living a fully inclusive lifestyle, and symbiotic imagery created by the residents of three islands based in a rural pacific ocean that is visible to its residents, disabled people/artists, yet invisible to those who choose not to see.
  • March 03/March 04 DASh. Digital Now Curated in Qube Oswestry. Digital Now is a collection of manipulated digital images based on the theme ‘Disabled people in a disabling world'. The work challenged the status quo of the way disabled people live in a rural community that is slowly working towards creating workable solutions to breaking down disabling barriers in every way.
  • November/December03 Curator – ‘Moving Beyond' exhibition at Custard Factory. Birmingham. WMDAF. ‘Moving Beyond' is an exhibition that brings together professional, emerging and amateur disabled artists of the West Midland Region in an eclectic arena. Workshops and seminars began a chain of discussions and debates around profiling of disability art in the mainstream.
  • December 03 Craftspace Touring-Disability Arts Awareness Training for Designers Working with Disabled Children in schools. Exhibition consultant.
